ESG & SUSTAINABILITY
EG Group is committed to investing in our people and infrastructure in line with our commitment to being a responsible business.
In 2023, we continued to work towards our ESG strategy and targets, focusing on three areas: Planet, Colleagues, and Communities. This includes commitments on reducing our climate impact, lower-carbon mobility, waste, diversity and inclusion, colleague training and development, as well as our contribution to local communities. We update on our progress and performance in our annual ESG Report. Click the link below to read our report in full, or to watch a video of highlights.

PLANET
PLANET
We recognise that the world needs to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 at the latest.
We aim to play our part in tackling climate change by reducing emissions, scaling up products and services that enable lower-carbon mobility, and minimising our waste.
We have set targets to reduce our operational carbon emissions; develop a scope 3 carbon reduction target for our products and supply chains; to scale up our offering of lower-carbon mobility solutions, including EV charging; and to increase the waste we divert from landfill.
COLLEAGUES
COLLEAGUES
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to create a better future.
That’s why, on top of creating job opportunities, we also aim to provide an inclusive culture where all our colleagues can develop, progress and share our success.
We have set targets to improve our colleague engagement results; increase the percentage of women in senior leadership; implement diversity, equity & inclusion plans in our markets; and ensure all colleagues have access to training and development opportunities – including through our apprenticeships programme.
COMMUNITIES
COMMUNITIES
We believe that where you start in life shouldn’t determine where you end up.
That’s why we aim to create a better future for our wider communities. We support disadvantaged, vulnerable communities, through health, education, and infrastructure – to make a difference where it’s needed most.
We have set targets to extend our community programmes across our markets and enable colleagues to support causes they feel passionate about.
